2. Eligibility and Health

Consultation: Prior to any treatment, you will undergo a consultation and a brief medical history review with our practitioner. You must provide accurate and complete information regarding your medical history, including any ear-related issues, allergies, or other relevant health conditions.

Contraindications: We reserve the right to refuse service if our practitioner determines that ear wax removal is not safe or appropriate for you. This may include, but is not limited to, cases of:

  Perforated eardrum

  Current or recent ear infection

  Previous ear surgery

  Presence of foreign objects in the ear canal

  Dizziness, vertigo, or other balance issues

  Known allergies to any substances used during treatment

Under 18s: We may provide services to individuals under the age of 18, but a parent or legal guardian must be present during the consultation and treatment to provide consent.

 

3. Booking and Appointments

Booking: All appointments must be booked in advance through our website.

Confirmation: You will receive a booking confirmation once your appointment is scheduled and full payment received.

Arrival: We will complete any necessary paperwork within your scheduled appointment time.

Cancellation and Rescheduling: We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for any cancellation or rescheduling.

Failure to Cancel: If you cancel with less than the required notice, or fail to be home for your appointment, you may be charged a cancellation fee of the full cost of the service.

Potential for Multiple Appointments: In some cases, a single appointment may not be sufficient to remove all wax, and a follow-up appointment may be necessary. This will be discussed with you by our practitioner.

No Guarantee: We do not guarantee a cure for any hearing-related issues. Our service is specifically for the removal of ear wax and not for the treatment of underlying hearing loss or other medical conditions.

Informed Consent: By proceeding with treatment, you acknowledge that you have been fully informed about the procedure, including its potential benefits and risks (such as temporary dizziness, discomfort, or, in rare cases, minor trauma to the ear canal).
